The polished brass-finished dial offers an ornate, gold tone center and a silver-tone chapter ring. A simulated, midnight blue moon phase accents the dial. An illuminated case and glass mirrored back and base highlight the polished brass-finished pendulum. Brass plate available for an additional charge.

In the 1960s, the company turned its attention to grandfather clocks, eventually earning the company the title of "World's Largest Grandfather Clock Manufacturer." In 1989, Howard Miller began creating collectors cabinets with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship inherent in their clockmaking. Fashioned from glass and hardwoods, the cabinets are ideal for displaying heirlooms, plates, glassware and other collectibles.

Also on the pediment are bookmatched Russian Walnut Burl with floral inlays framed with a Movingue border with Ebony and Maple accent lines. The floral inlays include the rare wood species listed above. A high-precision, German-made, Kieninger® cable-driven, Westminster chime movement plays 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75 chimes accordingly with full chime and strike on the hour. Chime silence option. The ornate polished brass, Roman numeral dial features custom cast corners, center, and moon arch ornaments unique to this clock. The cast center disk is numbered and features a removable engraving plate for personal inscriptions. "Limited Edition" is inscribed across the hemispheres. The dial also includes a special brass finished moon phase. The decorative polished brass-finished lyre pendulum features a cast center disk with a spun silver background. Complementing polished brass finished weight shells are embellished with decorative bands with a silver-tone background. The grand bombe style base features carved moldings with a decorative cut-out framed with carved floral motifs. Bookmatched Russian Walnut Burl with floral inlays framed with a Movingue border with Ebony and Maple accent lines on the front and sides.

The impressive upper and lower columns feature large reeds with carved acanthus accent moldings between and intricately carved acanthus top and bottom column caps

A delicate carved molding graces the panel between the upper and lower doors. The upper and lower doors feature crotch figured mahogany with complementing marquetry of Maple, Ebony, Padauk, and Pearwood

A high-precision, German-made, Kieninger® cable-driven, Westminster chime movement plays 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75 chimes accordingly with full chime and strike on the hour. Chime silence option. The polished brass-finished dial offers elaborate corner spandrels, a center disk, a silver chapter ring with applied brass Arabic numerals, and an astrological moon phase dial. The polished brass-finished pendulum includes a center disk that complements the dial and coordinates with the banded, polished-brass weight shells. Elaborately carved, reeded columns with turned top and bottom caps and carved oval appliques enhance the front view of the clock. The multitiered base features a decorative cutout. Removable beveled glass top side panels allow easy access to the movement. The side lower glass is also beveled.

Pendulum with cast center disk, and banded weight shells feature brushed satin brass finish to complement the dial. Two columns feature large reeds with turned column caps that frame the door. The multi-tiered bombe' base includes molding below the door and a decorative cutout. Glass mirrored back. Lower door features a decorative Gadroon molding with patterned beveled glass. Removable top side panels feature beveled glass and offer easy access to the movement.

Aged Auburn finish on select hardwoods and veneers is distressed with dents and wire brushed for a natural, reclaimed wood appearance. This flat-top floor clock features a multi-stepped plinth base. An aged dial features worn black Arabic numerals, minute track, a sweep seconds track and charcoal finished hands.

Howard Miller® Davidson Aged Auburn Grandfather Clock

Blackened steel finished weight shells and pendulum bob, which hangs on an Aged Auburn finished wood stick. The hinged front door features an iron-finished gun barrel latch and glass panes framed by wood mullions, revealing an antique mirrored back panel.

Removable upper side glass panels offer easy access to the movement. The dial and case are illuminated, with an easy to reach roller switch on the back.
